Dear Morrisonville Families,
The past couple of months have been filled with learning, growth, and celebrations here at Morrisonville Elementary! I’d like to share some highlights from our school community.
In January, we wrapped up the second quarter of the school year and completed our winter benchmark assessments in Math and Reading/English Language Arts. These assessments give us a valuable snapshot of student learning and achievement. By reviewing progress from the beginning of the year through the middle of the year, we can celebrate growth and set meaningful goals for continued success as we move forward.
Today was a special day at Morrisonville Elementary! We held our February Spartan Pin Ceremony, recognizing the accomplishments of nearly 60 students who completed their PBIS Matrix. These students have shown outstanding commitment to our school’s values, and we are so proud of their hard work! We also celebrated raising $1130 as a school for the North Country Honor Flight, led by the Student Council. Our classrooms were also filled with joy and excitement today as we celebrated Valentine's Day, sharing treats, smiles, and lots of cheer throughout the building.
Looking ahead, we are excited for a fantastic third quarter filled with learning and fun! We’ll be celebrating the upcoming 100th Day of School, a milestone that reminds us of how far we’ve come together this year.
As we head into winter break, I want to wish all of our students, families, and staff a happy, healthy, warm, and safe break. We hope you enjoy time with loved ones and return refreshed and ready for all that’s ahead!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
